| not being myself lately. Making stupid decisions, not making my shots...dun seem to have the energy for anything. Again im afraid. afraid of losing my hunger for what i perservered.
An opportunity i have craved for soo long, right there in front of me and i can't even budge to grasp it.

中西區名校英皇書院在二十世紀六十年代曾在中四收女生，後來就只維持在預科取錄女生的傳統；現時，英皇書院每年平均約有十至二十名「男校女生」，她們都是 在中五會考後，夠分數報讀英皇書院的校外女生；然而，校長何汝淳表示，該有趣的傳統會在三年後消失，原因亦是新高中學制。
何校長透 露，當年學校取錄女生，是因為同屬官校的庇理羅士女子中學在中四不設理科，故想讀理科的女生就要入讀英皇書院；其後，雖然庇理羅士女子中學有開辦理科班， 但英皇書院仍維持「男校女生」的特色。「以前有些女生是來自長洲 官立中學，因為該校有些科目在預科沒有英文班，要讀英文班的女生就會來英皇。」不過，隨着新高中學制推行，香港中學會考 亦會取消，所有學生都會從中一讀至中六，因此亦不會再有中六取錄外校學生的機會，而英皇書院亦沒有計畫在未來取錄女生，故英皇書院的「男校女生」將在三年 後成為歷史。
